What security costs in Het Gooi

Starting prices including VAT and installation, what makes a job more or less expensive, and what you never pay for.

A complete camera system for a home in Het Gooi starts at around 1,200 euros, including VAT and installation. An alarm system starts at 1,100, a video intercom at 1,200, access control and gates at 1,400, and boundary detection at 1,800. There is no subscription to see your own footage, and the first visit is free.

Starting prices

What From, incl. VAT What is included
Alarm system €1,100 Control panel, detectors, keypad or app, installation and set-up
Security cameras €1,200 Cameras, recorder in your own home, installation, set-up and the app
Video intercom €1,200 Outdoor panel, indoor screen and the link to your phone
Access control and gates €1,400 Reader or keypad, connection to a door or gate, codes and tags
Drive and boundary €1,800 Detection along the edge of the property, power and the connection to the house

If you choose more than one, the prices do not simply add up. Most of the work is in the cabling and the power supply, and those are then already in place.

What makes it more or less expensive

Distance matters most. A terraced house is a different job from a thirty metre drive with a gate at the road. On a large plot, cable, trenching and power are usually a bigger part of the bill than the cameras.

What is already there also counts. Usable cabling, room in the meter cupboard or an existing doorbell wire can save a day of work. And the house itself: running a cable through brick joints is quicker than working around natural stone, a thatched roof or a listed facade.

Light is often overlooked. Where it is pitch dark at night, you need either a more expensive camera or a lamp. The lamp is usually cheaper.

What you do not pay for

  • No subscription to access your own footage. The recorder stays in your home.
  • No monthly fee for the app.
  • No charge for the first visit and the written advice, even if you decide not to go ahead.
  • No surprise extras on the invoice. If we find something on site that could not be seen beforehand, we call you first.

Questions about costs

Do you work with English-speaking customers?

Yes. Our advisers speak English and can talk you through the advice and the quote in English.

Is a monitoring centre required?

No. Connecting an alarm to a monitoring centre is a choice. For some homes it makes sense, for others a notification on your own phone is enough. We tell you which applies to you.

How do I get an exact price?

Book a visit. We walk around the property, work out what is needed where, and send you a fixed price in writing. That price does not change afterwards.

Advice on site

Shall I come and have a look?

Every house here is different. A long drive in Blaricum needs something else than a town house in Hilversum, and a thatched roof needs something else again. I cannot see that from behind a desk, but I can on your driveway.

I walk around the house with you, show you where it is weak and work out the technology for it. You are not committed to anything, and you get our advice in writing.

We will call you back. Your details are not shared with third parties.

No obligation, advice in writing

Security advice made to measure?

We are happy to come by, free of obligation, and look at your personal situation. That way you get honest security advice and make the right choice for your property.

How it works

  1. We walk around the outside and look at your property the way a stranger would.
  2. You hear which spots really matter and which do not.
  3. We work out what a camera must be able to do to give usable footage.
  4. You get our advice in writing, with a price indication and no obligation.
